Awakening Dance Company, under the direction of Ellen Gorman-Guglietti, is comprised of youth dancers ages 13-18, who are dedicated to training and performing. Members of this company are required to take one ballet, two modern and one core conditioning class each week during the year and continue to take classes throughout the summer. Awakening performs in various venues both large scale and small performances throughout the year. Awakening also rehearses and performs with professional dance company Dendron Dance. The commitment is rigorous and truly fulfilling.
