Training                                                          Cornerstone Center for Modern and Contemporary Dance is a training program for dance technique. Cornerstone is not a recital school. Opportunities to audition for performance opportunities, including dance, drama, and music, will occur throughout the year. Artistic Director, Ellen Gorman-Guglietti, believes that dance as a discipline and as an artistic expression will build strong self-esteem, enhance the body and mind, and will subsequently strengthen each individual to grow and mature as a whole person. Faculty                                                              Ellen Gorman-Guglietti- Modern Ellen graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.F.A. in dance from Adelphi University.  As an undergrad, she danced for the Joyce Trisler Danscompany.  In 2001 she joined Gina Bashour's, GiBa in motion.  She danced and was company manager for Imago Dance Theater in New York.  Ellen is co-founder of Guidance, Inc., a non-profit, professional modern dance company.  For the past four years she has been the Dance Director at Pomfret School in CT.  Ellen is the Artistic Director of Cornerstone. Amanda Doyle- Ballet Amanda has performed throughout the U.S. for over ten years.  She graduated from Lawrence Academy and went on to Hofstra University for dance, then received her Bachelor's Degree in English from UMass Amherst.  She danced for the traveling ballet company Dance Prism in the Nutcracker and Cinderella.  Ms. Doyle taught and danced for L'Ecole de Ballet and is currently teaching dance at Lawrence Academy and Nashoba Valley Dance Academy.  Amanda is trained in the Royal Academy of Dance technique.
