Learn technique, play games and YOU create a play! Each week we create something new.
We can add dance, singing, comedy.... anything goes as long as you want to have fun and be creative!

 Acting for the Camera                                                                          

Ages 12-17
Dates: July 26 - 30, 9am-4pm
Cost $250


Choose to be behind the camera or in front! Learn Camera and film techniques. Actors will learn how to act for the camera and the difference between acting for film and acting in live theatre. Learn the craft you choose in the morning hours and then collaborate with both the actors and the cinematographers to create a short film.

 Theatre/Viewpoints Intensive  * Required for Youth Actors Company                      


Grades 9-12
Dates: Aug 16-20  9am-4pm
Cost $250

This program is highly recommended for the serious young actor who wishes to improve their acting technique. Through this innovative program, teens will explore acting through movement exercises and learn to focus on their acting partners so they can respond to their fellow actors in a natural, realistic way.

Cornerstone's music instructor, Eddy Troxler, will be offering workshops for junior high kids, high school kids, and a 6-week evening workshop for adults.

Blues & Rock Workshop

June 28-July 2

9:00a.m. – 4:00 pm. With a half day option 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.

Ages 12 and up

All instruments welcome but sign up early for limited space.
The class will focus on creating and arranging songs together as you
rehearse and prepare for your end of session performing experience. You’ll
receive professional instruction and insider tips along the way. The
number of songs will be based on the group’s abilities.

The goal will be to build confidence in your own creativity while gaining
improvisation skills, ear training, and other real life music skills that
you can only learn by practicing as a group.

 Jazz Workshop  

July 19-23

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
This will also focus on Arranging, rehearsing and performing songs but
will be focused on jazz.  For the slightly more advanced musician or
someone who already understands basic blues progressions and has basic
note reading skills .  Will focus on understanding jazz progressions,
soloing and playing well known jazz standards. The final day will also be
a performance.

Six Week Music Theory Workshop.  

June 7 - July 12

6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

 Meets onceper week for six weeks. This course will guide you through  learning how
to read pitches in any clef, rhythms (both simple and complex), and will
help you understand the meaning of key signatures and other devices used
in sheet music. We will also listen to examples, compare and contrast
different styles of music.

Guitar Master Class.  

July 17-18  

10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.

                                                                                          Extensive study in practice techniques, scales,
                                             warm-ups, performance.  Understanding arpeggios, soloing concepts etc.
